For my inaugural column for Forbes, I am writing about my favorite fabric for clothing for active pursuits. If you’ve already tried it, you’re likely a convert. If you’re still addicted to synthetic wicking fabrics and think, “Wool, isn’t it itchy and hot?” hear me out.

It’s soft, not itchy, dries quickly, can be very thin and comfortable in heat, retains warmth when wet, can be knit to be stretchy, is breathable, natural, sustainable, and does not stink, despite sweaty workouts.
